It appears that Patrick Stewart may not be directing the last episode
of 4th season("Redemption") after all. Hopefully they would let
Rob Bowman or David Carson direct it. The following appeared in 4/4
issue of Daily Variety:
Patrick Stewart, who portrays Capt. Jean-Luc Picard on Paramount's
"Star Trek The Next Generation" makes his directorial debut in an
episode titled "In Theory". Whoopi Goldberg reprises her role in the
episode as the Starship's resident bartender.
