STAR TREK:
THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL
25 Hours Recalls 25 Years

Few shows have managed to engage our imagination, maintain such a broad
audience appeal. But this isn't just any show. This is Star Trek.

Since 1966, the crew of the Enterprise has been beaming and warping about the
cosmos. Early in December, to celebrate 25 years of Star Trek, FOX29, and
other FOX station around the country are planning a two-hour special, a
tribute to creator Gene Roddenberry and the extraordinary casts.

Get your VCRs tuned up and a fresh supply of videocassettes, the special
immediately precedes a full 25 hours of Star Trek episodes. This will be the
"people's choice" Star Trek. Episodes to air will be based on a nationwide
audience poll. You'll continue to hear more about how you can vote for your
favorite Star Treks.

NEW START TREK MOTION PICTURE TO PREVIEW

The upcoming special will look at how Star Trek has evolved -- from the
original series, through the Next Generation and into film. Five motion
picture Treks have been made. And here's the real treat. The 25th Anniversary
Special will feature exclusive previews of the new motion picture. This will
be the sixth film, and it's scheduled for release in late December.

Having spanned four decades, Roddenberry's creation is truely remarkable. It
continues attacting loyal followers whether in rerun or first run, on
television or in film. Such loyalty is being rewarded -- this December. This
is more than a special. It's an event. Don't miss it.
