I just managed to catch the 6/3/91 edition of CNN's Showbiz Today. It had a piece about Patrick Stewart and his directing debut on ST:TNG. You get to see a little more behind-the-scenes goings on. I especially liked the fact that the cameras are equipped with TV cameras and the director has a portable TV to watch the what the camera is filming (yes, real film, not tape). Now, while I'm sure that it is a very low power TV transmitter that is being used, it would be neat to aim a high powered receiver at the Paramount Studios and be able to pick up what was going on. Talk about blooper tapes :-) Believe it or not, whatever you managed to watch they couldn't do anything about. They can get you for selling any copies, but personal use is another story. The first time they found out that someone was receiving the images, that technology would change real fast. -- harvard\ att!nicmad\ spool.cs.wisc.edu!astroatc!vidiot!brown Vidiot ucbvax!uwvax..........!astroatc!vidiot!brown rutgers/ decvax!nicmad/ INTERNET:vidiot!brown%astroatc@spool.cs.wisc.edu -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jim Griffith /--OO--\ | Two great powers are on our side: the power of griffith@dweeb.fx.com | Love and the power of Arithmetic.
