Marina Sirtis is interviewed in this upcoming week's _TV Guide_. The article doesn't reveal much that we didn't already know. She says that she enjoys conventions, and is worried about being typecast. The article also mentions that she has a part as a ghoulish baddie in an upcoming horror-type film (I don't have the magazine with me; I'll post a better summary later for those who don't get the guide). The article also erroneously reports that she originally tried out for the part of Dr. Crusher (in fact, she tried out for the part of Lt. Yar). In a separate article later in the same magazine, _TV Guide_ reports that ST:TNG is a show that actors are lining up to guest-star on. Next season guest stars include Julia Roberts and the guy who played Robin Colcourt on _Cheers_, plus a few other name actors (I want to say Melanie Griffith, but I don't think I'm remembering correctly).
