I posted this question to c.s.a, forgetting that this group now exists. Does anyone have experience hooking the Panasonic PanaSync to the Amiga's regular video output (no Flicker-Fixer)? Maybe someone should look into compiling a list of the more popular MultiSync monitors out there, with information on how well they work on the Amiga.
