I have am amiga 2000 with a 2090 controller and 20 meg miniscribe hard drive. i do not have autoboot capability, so i still have to mount my harddrive in my floppy's startup-sequence. recently, my harddrive will not be recognized by the system on bootup (usually on a warm boot, but sometimes on a cold boot too). if i turn the machine off and wait for about 10-20 minutes, and cold boot the machine, the drive is recognized and i have no further problems with it until i try to reset the machine. if i do reset the machine after using the harddrive for awhile, it may or may not work. if i reboot after playing a game(which doesn't even mount the harddrive), the drive also might not work. anyone have any ideas what the problem is? i've tried formatting the drive, reseating the controller board, and i've made sure all the cable connections are ok. thanks for any answers, robb nedwick ran101@psuvm
