I left my computer compiling away at a big program yesterday, and when I came back, the computer was off! The power switch was on though. I investigated and discovered that the fan in the power supply was not running. The power supply was shutting down to prevent over-heating. I disassembled the fan, and discovered that one of the windings shorted with the rotating magnet. (With this particular design, I'm supprised it didn't fail earlier.) I've managed to get it to hobble along now, but I have no confidence in its long term survival. So the question is, where can I find a decent replacement that will fit (electrically and physically). If I have to order by mail, I will. But, if I can get an improved one through my dealer, or at some outfit in the Los Angeles area, I'd much prefer that. aTdHvAaNnKcSe --Richard Addison
