My A500 HD (a ST 157 N) kicked the bucket. The drive was still under warranty, but since the manufacturer (Phoenix technology) went under, I'm stuck! Now since the rest of the setup still works (power supply, case, software etc.) I'd like to just drop in another SCSI drive. Now come the questions : - will I be able to replace the drive without knowing anthing in particular about HD interfaces in general and SCSI in particular? - assuming the answer to the first question is yes for an ST157N, is the answer still yes for another SCSI HD (say those quantums somebody posted the prices for a couple of days ago).
