[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] Spirit's AX.S Thingy

jenglish@tardis.Tymnet.COM (Jim English) (02/07/90)

In the March issue of AmigaWorld, on page 101, there is an advertisment
for something called AX.S from Spirit Technology. Apparently, it connects
to the Amiga's Bus/Expansion port, and plugs into an AT style case. I take
it you then use the AT's slots andpower supply and you simply plug in
any XT/AT compatible cards. You then can use them on the Amiga. It looks
like it will only work with a 500, but I am not sure. This is the first I
have seen or heard of such a piece of hardware, and am glad to see it.
Has anyone else seen it? Seen it in action? Anyone developing on it?
BTW, there is a note to developers in the ad.

Any guesses on how much it will cost?
