Hello, I'm considering to build a Lucas & Frances board for A500. Those orginal boards were designed for A1000 where the 68000 is in the rear end of motherboard and so they don't fit inside of a A500 and it does't include 68000 so it woun't work with all programs :-( Thats some good reasons why I'm considering to make a new board. As far as I can see there's no use having two separate boards (Lucas and Frances) but instead having one big board with 68020, 68881, 68000 and some 1-4 megs of memory. I have heard that somebody has allready make lucas with 68000 and the instructions have been published in news, so if somebody could send me the specs I would be really happy :-) Also if somebody has made A500 Lucas / Frances I would really like to hear from you too! Otherwise it seems that I have to do these improvements by myself which apparentry takes quite a while :-( Here was a story about 68030 in the Lucas-board. How much faster? Worth the trouble? What about 68882? I'm also interested if somebody uses the other 256k rom address space for something usefull (Monitor, Xoper etc.) because I think that could be a nice improment in the board too (if 1.4 isn't 512k).
