I have a big problem with an A 2000 I work with. It's an old one, revision 4.1, but B version. Recently, I installed a 2620 and since then I have lots of troubles. The thing gurus all the time - for example, DVideoIII nearly always crashes. Even the CLI doesn't work properly in 68020 mode, you type a letter and about 20 letters appear with a considerable delay; WordPerfect doesn't print anymore and so on. In 68000 mode, most problems are gone (though not all). I've tested the 2620 in my own 2000, Rev 6.0 and it worked without problems. Then I tested the memory of the A2000 Rev 4.1 using the monitor of the 2620. When I did a 't 0 80000' (that's the chip mem, right?) the machine hangs, nothing moves anymore. But then I tested it in parts, 0 to 10000, 10000 to 20000 and so on, and it worked. Well, between 70000 and 80000 is obviously the display memory of the debugger itself, so strange regular patterns appear on the screen, but with a ctrl-c everything stops and you can continue to work. Now what is this? It can't be the 2620, which works fine in my machine (right now for example). The 2000 works quite well in 68000 mode, too.
