I am trying to diagnose a problem with my A1000 where the machine usually locks
up when running binddrivers at power-up.
Configuration:
Xetec FastTrack SCSI
ASDG Mini-rack w/2MB
Kick/WB 1.3
Back in the early days, I remember discussions of the occasional need to
ground pins or even replace PALs on the motherboard. I'd like to begin
by eliminating this as the problem.
Could any of you who are into A1000 hardware send me information on known
problems and solutions associated with lock-ups during binddrivers and/or
information on PAL problems?
I would also appreciate info on what PAL pins need to be grounded or what
equations should be used if I find myself needing to burn replacements.
