I am currently considering which harddrive to get for my A2000. I went down to the dealer to get the paperwork to order a 2091-40 at the educational discount ($589). The salesman suggested and really pushed the GVP equilent hardrive saying that is was a better driver with a 1 year warranty at $625 (their sale price). I forget the GVP model number but it's a 40meg (Quantum like the 2091) and have can also be populated with 2 megs of RAM like the 2091. To me these 2 hardrives seem about the same and both come from reputable companies and even include the same brand drive (Quantum) Can anybody tell me if either has a definite advantage over the other as far as quality, performance, price etc.... Your opinions/experiences are greatly appreciated. - Todd Hornsby P.S. does the 2091 overcome the deficiencies I have heard about concerning the 2091As (Problems with DMA while in hi-res mode for instance)?

That could make the decision much easier. David

You have until the end of the month to buy peripherals without buying a machine at educational discount. Commodore decided to be generous, but you only have until the end of the month! -- Ethan Ethan Solomita: es1@cunixb.cc.columbia.edu Compu$erve : 70137,3271 Anyone giving away Amigas or Sharp Scanners???
