The day before yesterday I got my new harddisk, an Imprimis Swift 177 megs
drive.
Performance screams - look at this:
DiskPreformance - V3.0 - 03/21/89
Testing drive dh0: with small files (floppy mode)
File create/delete: create 21 files/sec, delete 62 files/sec
Directory scan: 250 entries/sec
Seek/read test: 324 seek/reads per second
r/w speed: buf 1024 bytes, rd 163840 byte/sec, wr 56987 byte/sec
r/w speed: buf 8192 bytes, rd 655360 byte/sec, wr 327680 byte/sec
r/w speed: buf 32768 bytes, rd 1310720 byte/sec, wr 655360 byte/sec

However, where there is light, there is also shadow, and evil shows in a
mysterious form (oh my, I should stop to play those role playing games :-)
SetCPU fastrom doesn't work anymore! When I issue the command and don't
acces the drive, it works, but as soon as I do a dir dh0: or try to load
something, the system hangs, I have to reboot.
Any ideas what curse this is?
