My A500 power supply (original equipment) is dead. :[ In consideration of a new one, is there any one best model? Any model I should avoid? Also, I have a second and unrelated question. I have heard from a friend that there is going to be an internal RAM expander card for the A500 which will provide up to 4 megabytes. Is there any truth to this? I looked through my current issue of AMAZING, but didn't see anything advertized. Is there any card which will allow more than 1/2 meg internal expansion on the A500? About a year ago I was convinced the people in Mimetics that the Amiga 500 power supply was too weak to power their genlock, so I bought a new one, from an outfit called Phoenix. The first one they shipped didn't work at all. The second one caught fire after a few hours work. I recommend avoiding them. (Turned out the Mimetics people were wrong, and I didn't need a new power supply at all, which was fortunate!) SpIke.
