Having missed out on the $1300 A2000 I've decided to upgrade what I have...I
want to get a 48MB Seagate HD with the Trumpcard and later add a 68020
Hurricane board later on....what I don't know is whether the Hurricane sits on
top of the motherboard or is through the side port. All I have is a one line
description in an ad...68020,68881 & 1meg. My first guess is that it sits on
top of the motherboard.
Does anyone know if you can get 2mb on the board? Is the Hurricane the best
accelerator board for the 500? Is there a passthrough on the Trumpcard box?
Should I worry about my power supply?

First off, sorry for the last message. The editor had a few problems
before, (or I did).
The Hurricane accelerator goes into your 68000 socket on your main
motherboard. I think you can get 2 megs of Ram on it.
On the trumpcard....I'm not sure if it has a pass thru or not. It probably
does, since most do. You may want to call your local dealer.
I feel power supplies are (from what I heard) a BIG problem on 500s. I
guess it was made to power an A501, an an external floppy drive. From your
a mail order place, you can get a stronger power supply for around $100

I have one, and no there isn't. But it does have a slot inside the case
that will take an IVS Meta4 memory expansion board. If IVS wanted to be
real slick they'd make an accelerator board for that slot.
