[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] A2091 and FastFile

I hate to beat on a dead horse. And I reallt hate to dig up a dead horse that
has been beat on, but this Turbo Silver thing is not dead yet.

The FFS in every :L/ directory I have within fifty feet of the computer is
12248bytes long and Silver is still locking up when it's screen pops up.
I have two dates, if that matters at all, Sept '89 and March '89.

I used the FFS off my WB1.3.2 disk, the 2091 disk and what was on the drive,
which I have redone anyways. ( The old three partition idea was not too
great, but the one partition set up it is shipping with is dangerous. All
those nifty PD utils you get set up, trashed by something writting
data to the one and only partition?!?!)

I have gone into the HDtoolbox, picked change file system, chose the 12248
version and saved the changes to L: and it still locks up!?

Do I need new ROMs? Regardless of this problem, does my A2630 and or
A2091 need newer ROMs then it was shipped with? I though I remembered
I discussion about this.

Lastely, will the A3000 inovations be reachable with a 2000 series machine?
(Hoping someone slips and lets out some info.)
