Hi again, I wrote not too long ago about selling Amiga 1000's and the like, and I still have a Lucas / Frances combo and one 1000 left. I have purchased a 2500/30, and no longer need the Lucas / Frances, and I am willing to sell the 1000 with it if need be. I got several offers for the Lucas and Frances board, but when I was settling on price, I stopped getting responses. Since I am using 2 Meg of the Frances 4 Meg in my 2500/30, there is 2 Meg of 32bit RAM - 100ns left in the Frances. The 68020 and 68881 are 16 MHz parts, and seem to work well at 20 MHz also. Any one interested? My latest offers were: Lucas / Frances w/ 2 Meg - $450 Frances only w/ 4 Meg - $320. I don't know if I'll hear back from any of the people who made these offers. The two boards cost over $300 plus chips to build. I don't know where other people got there caps, resistors, sockets, etc but mine were expensive. (Some parts were a total pain to find, how did most people do this?) The RAM cost $340 for 4 Meg, the ttl was about $30, the Controller - $25, and I got the Moto developers kit with 68020/68881/68851/etc for less than the 68020 and 68881 were separate. I am planning to keep the etc, but the 68851 goes if the buyer wants it. Anyone..., anyone? David Childs

I have a Lucas / Frances combination which I would like to sell. I built the Lucas more than a year ago, and it works fine except for a problem with one of the 68881 address lines. [The cpu works, and runs all the software I have tried, but the 68881 is not always recognized.] I am sure I know what the problem is and how to fix it (Brad Fowles has helped me figure it out), but I just haven't had time to work on it. The Frances hasn't been built yet - all I have are the board and pals. I would like to finish the project, but I just don't have the time. So, I would like to sell the whole lot. The 68020 and 68881 are 16MHz, and work fine at 20MHz. I'll also throw in all the odds and end parts I have for the Lucas board. I'll take the best offer. Nick Giordano Physics Dept. Purdue U.
