The picture of the motherboard in AmigaWorld shows 4 rom sockets. 2 that are filled and 2 that are not. What are the 2 that are empty for? Might they be used to put 1.3 in a 3000 along with 2.0??? -=- I will not waste chalk..I will not skateboard down the halls..I will not burp in class..I will not instigate revolution..I will not draw naked ladies in class..I did not see Elvis..I will not call my teacher "Hot Cakes".. The sockets simply provide two different pinouts, one compatible with masked ROM's and one compatible with the preset generation of high-density 16-bit EPROMs. I wouldn't expect both sets of sockets to persist... -- George Robbins - now working for, uucp: {uunet|pyramid|rutgers}!cbmvax!grr but no way officially representing: domain: grr@cbmvax.commodore.com Commodore, Engineering Department phone: 215-431-9349 (only by moonlite)
