[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] Can you mix ZIP types on a 3000?

Is is possible to mix 1Mbit & 4Mbit ZIPs on the A3000?  For example, would
2 megabytes of 1Mbit plus 8 megabytes of 4Mbit work?  Thanks.

No.  If you use 4M-bit DRAM for the fast memory, it must all be 4M-bit chips.
There will be some provision for removing or disabling the installed 1M-bit
chips to allow adding 4M-bit chips.
