IF the display is interlaced and IF there is no "deinterlacing"
circuit attached to the output, the display WILL flicker period. 
This is due to the slower effective display rate of 30 frames/second.

NONE of the Amiga's video modes will flicker when they are
deinterlaced by either a flicker-fixer or the A3000 deinterlacer
circuit.
