Wack the monitor on the side, you might convince it to stop, just like you wack a kid who whines to much. My old 1080 whines from time to time, and a good beating sometimes straightens it up. This type of problem usually happens long after the monitor has been put in service. With time and heat, a certain capacitor is likely to loosen up and start vibrating at 15KHz. Rather annoying to people with normal hearing, but totally harmless to foot-loose teenagers. :-) Valentin -- The Goddess of democracy? If it didn't work correctly when you received it, insist on one that does. If it used to work, insist that it be repaired or replaced, that's why there are warranty cards and all that good stuff in the box... -- George Robbins - now working for, uucp: {uunet|pyramid|rutgers}!cbmvax!grr but no way officially representing: domain: grr@cbmvax.commodore.com Commodore, Engineering Department phone: 215-431-9349 (only by moonlite)
