I want to try to get DNet running between my roommate's A1000 and my A500 over
the weekend. I was wondering if there was anything weird I should know about
the A1000 serial port. I just made a straight through with pins 1,2,4,7 put
in. Do I need more than this? I haven't cut anything else out and am just
being lazy about the other pins (I'm also running out of the little suckers).
Oh yeah...I do have a null modem connector at one end.
Thanks!
NT
BTW: I'm also going to try to get Falcon up so if it needs any other lines it'd
be nice to know...thanks!

If both machines want to talk to each other, then you will need pin 3 also. pins 2 and 3 are the transmit and receive for both machines. I think a good cable might be 2,3,6,7,20. Good luck!

If the above list of pins isn't a typo you also need pin 3 in the cable at at
minimum. The other standard RS232 signals DSR-DTR, CTS-RTS could included but
may not be required.
