I have a 2 Meg memory board I bought from a friend (it was a beta board, no enclosure) and it does not pass through the 86 pin edge connector. I now have a Live! and have a need to hook up both the memory board and the Live! at the same time, but both want to be on the end of the daisy-chain. The question is, can I simply wire up a pass-through 86 pin connector to the memory board? It has exposed pins and a male edge connector could be soldered up and I could attach the Live! to it. I am wondering if there would be problems with power supply or number of devices driven, etc. If this sounds okay, I need to know the spec of the male connector--I guess it is 86 pins, but I'm not sure if there is a contact width spec I need (and where do you get such things? Fry's Electronics in Sunnyvale?). Thanks in advance for recommendations--please send mail for answers. Paul {sun|decwrl|xanadu}!acad!peb
