I have a new A1950 multisync monitor connected to my A2000, running at 15.7KHz. Text displayed at the far right edge of the screen is scrunched together, about 60% of normal width. When the horizontal centering is adjusted, the area of nonlinearity stays at the edge of the glass. That is, letters in columns 70-80 look OK when the entire image is shifted over so they are near the middle of the screen, but these same characters are very narrow when the image is shifted to within 1.5 inches of the edge of the glass. I have not tested the A1950 in VGA mode; I am hoping that the nonlinearity show up there. Question: Does this happen with many A1950's, or does mine need warantee work? -- Joe Smith (408)922-6220 | SMTP: jms@tardis.tymnet.com or jms@gemini.tymnet.com BT Tymnet Tech Services | UUCP: ...!{ames,pyramid}!oliveb!tymix!tardis!jms PO Box 49019, MS-C41 | BIX: smithjoe | 12 PDP-10s still running!
