The problems I've had : seem to stem from the file system generating incorrect SCSI addresses : and trashing it's own files after it gets to a certain percentage : full. I suspect the MountList, since the documentation on it is : minimal. Could you ease my suffering and send me a copy of one of your : MountList's? It would be very much appreciated. Well... I don't really use MountLists. :-) The Supra software has a special 'Supramount' that mounts all drives/partitions for me. I do have a utility that can generate a MountList entry though. I just haven't verified that it really works. Here's the MountList entry it generated for my Maxtor XT-3280S setup as one big partition... /* Entry for SupraDrive partition Programs */ DH1: FileSystem = l:FastFileSystem Device = supradirect.device Priority = 10 Unit = 3 Flags = 0 Surfaces = 15 BlocksPerTrack = 25 Reserved = 2 PreAlloc = 0 Interleave = 0 LowCyl = 1 HighCyl = 1222 Stacksize = 4096 Buffers = 30 BufMemType = 1 Mount = 1 MaxTransfer = 0xFE00 Mask = 0xFFFFFF GlobVec = -1 BootPri = 0 DosType = 0x444F5301 # : If your email is still bouncing, I follow all of the comp.sys.amiga* : groups. Thanks in advance, We'll just have to give it a try... :-) Guess what? It didn't work! :-) : Kevin Picott aka Socrates aka kpicott%alias@csri.toronto.edu : Alias Research Inc. 110 Richmond St. E.
