I'm posting this for a friend...he's got his Lucas board working but Francis crashes the machine any time he adds the ram to the list. He can't even perform the elementary write operations as explained in the debugging instructions. One question he had, when his 1000 boots, the short musical piece it plays is noticeably slower than a stock 1000. Can anyone tell me if this is normal? Or might this be a clue to his problem? He's found a couple problems with the traces on the Francis board and has replaced most all the chips and hasn't made any progress. He's getting desperate! Please e-mail ideas to black@beno.CSS.GOV.
