Has anyone gotten this particular combination to work? This would seem to be ideal, as there is an external SCSI port on the A3000. Hard Drives International is offering the Syquest drive external (power supply, the whole shebang) for $599! I believe that this includes 1 cartridge, but I'm not sure. Anyway, this would be ideal for those of us who do lots of storage intensives like digitizing, desktop publishing, etc. Brian Jacobs aok@mentor.cc.purdue.edu

The disks cost ~$75 apiece which works out to a bit less than $2/meg. Tapes cost ~$.50/meg Yes it's more convenient to have the files on a disk.. -- <- David Herron, an MMDF weenie, <david@twg.com> <- Formerly: David Herron -- NonResident E-Mail Hack <david@ms.uky.edu> <- <- Sign me up for one "I survived Jaka's Story" T-shirt!
