Oh, how I wish every amiga hardrive system worked with HDtoolbox, like my A590. I had to setup my brother-inlaw's Cltd with a used Micropolis with no info. The Procedure for setting up a Cltd, with no FedX help, and unknown drive info.: run the dumb format program on the drive's SCSI address run the "ask drive How Big? program. determine how many sectors there are calculate a rational number of surfaces*tracks*sectors-per-track create a mountlist, etc. for DevInstall@devs:devsetup (or like that) run Devinstall#$%^@!(whatever) in CLI or shell AmigaDOS mount and format each partition From there, you want to install workbench, etc. on the hardrive, and customize your boot disk and enviroment. This was on an old A500 Cltd interface, I have no idea of how Kronos handles it. I've done this Cltd, a Supra A500, and my A590. Did I say that I greatly prefer the A590's software (HDtoolbox)..... -Ed Berger eb15@andrew.cmu.edu
