My problem boils down to this. Is there ANY difference between the 23 pin video output of the A2000 and that of the A3000? If not, can anyone explain to me why my CMI VI-500RF video encoder, which worked perfectly on an A2000 (video out, chroma/luma out, and RF out all work) does not work at all on the A3000??? The 23 pin port works fine, since I can hook up my 2002 monitor directly to it and get signal. I have tried the encoder with the display enhancer both ON and OFF. I have seen several postings concering problems with some GENLOCKING devices not working with the A3000, but nothing about encoders. Any help would be appreciated since I have several people who want titles on their videos (not overlayed with graphics, thus the encoder) and I have my hands tied. I did check to see if the encoder was working by hooking it up to an A2000 this past weekend and it performed perfectly. Please respond by email so as not to take up net space with this.
