Absolutely not. I was getting fairly good results using the 2090/296N
combination. DiskSpeed 3.0 (Michael Sinz) reported 375K reads and 201K
writes. I did have the drive partitioned off though. The largest was 30
Meg or so.

SO> Does/will this work with the A2090 also?

Please say YES! I really need a better route then floppies to back up my
drives!!!!!! I've been looking at Tape Drives and other removable media
drives and the big question has been, "Will it work with ANY of the
SCSI/ST-506 interfaces I have?". No one has been able to tell me it will.

SO> As you may have deduced, I have an A2090, as do a lot of other people.

I'm one of those people still clinging to that old 2090 card. Although
it mostly just sits in a box until I need to use a ST-506 drive. If I
could use it to talk to a tape backup I buy one yesterday!
