Hi all. I'm thinking about buying a US Robotics 9600 baud HST modem in the near future. I seem to remember that US Robotics used to have a deal whereby BBS sysops (of which I am one) could purchase a modem for a fairly low price. Does anyone know if they are still doing this and how I can find out more about it? Thanks for all the help, Mike

Call 1-800-DIAL-USR. Be prepared to set your autodialer, as this voice line is almost always busy. The sysop HST used to be 'round $460. I've heard that it's dropped in price to 'round $400, but that's only RUMOR. -- John M. Brand new mail-order, an HST will cost you $575. I've a friend with a spair one who's willing to let it go for $500. It's in perfect condition and only a few months old. Gotta love 1650 CPS. -- John M.
