Ok.. basically , I have a T2500 (Telebit) that can run 300-2400, 9600 V.32 &
V.42 , and Telebit PEP.

My experiences have been good.

In order of speed...

1) Telebit - Telebit
2) USR - USR
3) V.42
4) V.32

(NO , I cant provide definite numbers)

But I CAN provide the following numbers ......

Things to note: The LARGER the sample the better the accuracy (headers and
all) .. so take that into account.
This means that most RECEIVE numbers shown are artificially small.

Ok.. I have a Telebit ..

me - uunet , Telebit PEP connection, protocol spoofing on. Smart IO cards.
me - wisdom , Telebit PEP connection, spoofing on , my smart card - his
     Amiga.
me - dsoft Straight 2400 both sides.
me - ddsw1 - same as uunet.
me - kastle - 2400 MNP 5
me - s4mjs V.32 my Amiga to his USR Dual.

So there you are... I still LOVE the telebit for UNIX UUCP tramsfers.
