For anyone interested, I originally posted my problem here and no one answered so I figured no one cared or no one knew. For the latter (and for anyone who missed my plight) here's what happened: I have a Hardframe 2000 AND a GVP A3001 28 Mhz Accelerator. I have a 40 Megs Quantum and a SyQuest on the Hardframe and an 80 Meg Quantum-AT on the GVP accelerator. I had no problems in 1.3 but with 2.0 (all versions) I had a problem with mounting the devices on the Hardframe. MANY phone calls later, I compared my chip updates to Microbotics' and found I had their latest chips which work with 2.0 (although they have no accelerator). GVP had no Hardframe but a week later, when they got one, they were unable to duplicate my problem. Comparing chips with them, we found they had some new versions. They kindly sent me the differnces and it was the upgrade from the 2.0 to 2.3 ROM which did the trick. It was neccessary for them to send the new version of their AT prep software so I could boot with it and re-prep the hard drive.
