I was able to get my 2-drive Bernoulli Box attached to my new 3000 using the external SCSI connector after I removed the hood from the cable end. (Guess the drive or the 3000 doesn't like having the signal ground the same as frame ground). But when I go into HDToolBox, I can't get the drive to verify, only low level format (The drives light does go on and work for a few minutes, then goes out). I was able to create a new drive type for the drive (when I had it read the drive specs, everything was correct except that it thought the drive was 128 blocks per track instead of 64). And then I was able to partition it. If I try to use the verify option however, it always returns some failure code, and then another requester saying verify failed (the drive light AND the 3000 HD light (front panel) both came on for a split sec.). Any ideas on what I am doing wrong (and how long before someone comes out with a program to twiddle the bit that tells the system SCSI controller to support multiple LUs per SCSI address) ? Dave
