Well, I posted this two days ago, but I have yet to even see my original message. I plan on adding a second drive to my 2091 card in a couple of months. I'm going to add a Seagate 1096N since their price is so low. My question (especially orietnted towards Halsey Beach or any other Commodore Guru in the know....) concerns the note in the April-May technotes which talks about a system lockup due to the WDC 339C3 controller chip which I am the proud (?) father of on my 2091. I believe I have the old ROMs and would be eligible for the in-warranty replacements which were being coded as of April-May. What is the serial-number / date on the new ROMS so I can check my card. I've asked my dealer, but he didn't even know about the note in the technotes. Thanks! -- John M.
