Just a question of curiosity, but I wonder why no one has tried to garner support for the use of multiple math coprocessors on an Amiga accelerator setup. If I remember properly, the 68020+ allow for up to I belive 6 coprocessors per CPU, with each called though the coprocessor number in the FPU opcode. True...this would require additional support in the way of software, but the advantages to applications such as high-detail raytracing might be worth the effort. Now, of course, this would be offset by the advantage of something like a T800-based transputor board running in an Amiga...but this is just a thought about alternatives.... --LaMonte "The MOST original .sig file yet...a non-existant one!"
