{} Well I have this "Problem" my externan drive is saying ANY disk i put in it is "bad" "NoDos" ect.... However these disks work fine in my internal drive. Also i tried to format a floppie in the external and it's format then say either DISK WRITE PROTECTED (tho it wasn't) or KEY 81 BAD. (I think that's the right ##) Q: Is my Drive just Dirty? or is there somthing really wrong? QQ2: What's the "Best" way to clean out a drive? I know ya Can (but shoulden't) use rubbing alacohol. q3: How Often should one clean out a Floppie? Thanx in advance... / -- yorkw@stable.ecn.purdue.edu Willis F York ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This Space For Rent....

I seem to have discovered a Problem using the Newest version of Tracksalve (offa fred fish 355 or so) the program if used with an External drive will cause random "read/write error" requestors to pop up. VERY annoying, This is really a great prog. at least i THINK this is the real problem. ie. i stopped using the prog and the error stopped. q: why is a Update option needed? what does it really do? -- yorkw@stable.ecn.purdue.edu Willis F York ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This Space For Rent....
