Howdi, I have a A500 with a rev. 6a motherboard and the fatter Angus chip already in it (came with it.) and I was wondering how to make the 501 card ram be chip readable (it's on the same bus, it isn't really any faster, so why not?) I opened her up the other day and saw those silly solder jumper things all over the board, and I think I can deal those, but I lost my news feed when this kind of stuff was the topic of conversation so I don't know how to do it. Please mail to (bitnet): bhgs@utorgpu and put 'Jon' in the subject, or post if you think there is sufficient interest. Thanks alot, Jon.

Howdy; I have a question about the memory in my 500. I posted this question about a week ago, and no one answered; I think the message may have only gotten to Canadian machines for some reason, so I am reposting, but if you have seen this before and still don't know the answer then I guess you don't have to answer. In any case the question is: I have a 500 with a rev. 6a motherboard and the A501 memory card installed, and it came with the new Angus chip; I would like to make the A501 memory chip readable, since it is on the same bus anyway. If any one can send which jumpers to jump and thingies to cut, I would greatly appreciate it. Mail to: bhgs@gpu.utcs.ca (Please put 'Jon' in the subject) or post. Jon.
