The 3000 has Productivity mode, which is 640x480. It also has Interlaced Productivity mode 640x960. I've played around with these using C= 1950 multisync monitor, and Interlaced Productivity looks, well, like one was trying to cram 960 lines of graphics onto a 480 line screen. It is not really good enough a display to be able to use an editor with. My question is... what monitor will support the Interlaced Productivity in a usable way? I have a NEC 4d multisync at work. Would this sort of a monitor be able to support this mode better, or what? (The NEC 4d is 16" with .28mm dot-pitch Analog input and a max 75MHz Video band width. It claims to support 1024x 768 pixels. The manual states that it scans 30-57 kHz horizontally, and 50-90 Hz vertically.) -Tom the ever-curious -- "Hey COW!" _____________(( "My employer couldn't care less about m'cow!" / ** o \ ______ _______________________ /| **** \ _/moo...\ | Tom McConnell | / | ** /\__/ \______/ | uunet!microsoft!tom |
