[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] Tiny Tiger II owners/Rodime 20MB owners HELP!!

greg@walt.cc.utexas.edu (Greg Harp) (10/02/90)

I am looking for owners of the M.A.S.T. Tiny Tiger II SCSI interface and
owners of the Rodime RO652 20MB SCSI drive (or other Rodime SCSIs).

I am trying to interface the two above pieces of hardware, and so far I get
nothing out of them.

About the Tiny Tiger: I need help with the software and docs for this. I
only have the distribution boot disk and a couple photocopied sheets with
directions on how to connect the interface and how to provide power for it.
(I don't recommend M.A.S.T. for those who like good docs, or docs at all.)
The disk only has a device driver and a mountlist entry for their 45MB setup.
There's no low-level format or other management software. (Grr!!!)

About the Rodime: The exact numbers of the label are 'RO652 type 1A 8702'.
My question about this drive is the purpose of the 6-pin IDC header on it.
It appears to be more than somewhere to put jumpers, since it has a keyed
shell around the pins. I know it's not power since the drive has the
standard 4-pin molex on it. So, what's it for? IS it for jumpers after all?
I got NO docs with the drive (it's used, so I'm not surprised)

I'm very anxious to get this drive working so I can get on with my projects.

My appreciation for you help with be eternal!

Thanks...

Greg
