Okay, I gotta question for all of ya. Seeing that most hardware conversation on Delphi is a bit tame, I'd like to post a question that might be answered. How might one install a 1.44 meg drive into an Amiga? (IBM type 1.44 meg). Conceivably it would provide more like 1.66 megabytes with an Amiga formatted disk. There was an article on how to install regular IBM drives (since they're so similar to Amiga ones) but what about the 1.44 meg ones? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Kris ---no banner yet---

In-Reply-To: message from podop03@bingsuns.cc.binghamton.edu I know a friend has a 1.44MB 3.5" floppy he uses on his '286 Bridgeboard in his Amiga, but for Amiga side format, I suggest the Applied Engineering (AE) high density Amiga floppy drive. I think it costs $195 for the external drive, with power eject (like Mac drives) and formats to 1.6 MB on a single HD 3.5" floppy. Why not go for that?
