Perhaps one of you out there can help me. My old A1000 is giving me some *very* odd problems and I am at a loss to explane them. When I turn it on and use it it runs fine. I have the built in DF0 and the external DF1 connected, as well as the ram pack to bring it out to 512K. If I just run amigados disks all is fine, but if I go to run a game or a program that is not in amiga dos format (gauntlet mong others) the drive (DF0) will spin for a second and then stop with the light on. Now, here is the *odd* part. If you let it sit for an hour or so, the SOB will come up! I nearley gave me a heart attack the first time it did this, as I forgot I left it sitting there like that, and all of the sudden the sucker started the game intro! The even odder thing is that once it is up, it will often work allright for a while, then on a disk access, again, it will hang for a long time. Again, I should say, this is only with NON DOS DISKS! All of my 'amiga' format disks run just fine! Any ideas?? Matthew Kleinmann
