Ack! I got up this morning and turned on my machine, and was greeted by the friendly hand! This may seem ok to you, but it seems that my Quantum didn't want to rise as early as me. So, I took my heavy monitor off the top of the computer, pushed the power cord into the back of the computer (all this was done whiele the machine was off of course), and pushed down a little bit on the back of the 2091 (you know where the connector comes out the back). I turned it back on (with the monitor still off of the case), and it worked. Has anybody else had this problem? How do I avoid it in the future? I have heard that leaving your machine on its side can affect the hard drive in strange ways. Is this true? I am thinking about leaving it on its side from now on.
