Some collective net wisdom needed please. I am about to purchase a hard drive (finally!!!) for my B2000 which is equiped with 2058 card populated with 2 MEg. I had decided on a 2091 with 40 meg Quantum but this is not able to be purchased in New Zealand from the local Commodore people. I had selected the 2091 because it had space for 2 meg RAM (thus allowing me to add the maximum fast RAM of 6 megs if I ever bought a Bridgeboard. It also has DMA and uses scuzzi (sic) . I also thought that any addons from Commodore should be compatible with at least the 2091. But I cant wait any longer. I am loathe to buy hardware by mailorder and from so far away so I am looking at either the hardframe or a GVP product. Both are available locally. Any advice before I lay out the cash fellow netters? In case I break my rule about purchasing overseas any good places to mail order a 2091 from. Please reply by e-mail if it does not cost you too much. I will summarise if enough replies received as I am sure this question has been asked before. (Now if I had a hard drive I could have a partition for useful USENET answers :-) Keith Stewart Proud to be an Amigan
