I have recently within the last year purchased an Amiga A500.
A friend purchased one the year prior. There is a massive difference
in the weight of the power pack/transformers of these two machines with
the earlier power pack being much lighter than the newer. As I am not
very electronically inclined, I haven't poked around the innards of them.
I was wondering if there was a simple explanation for this.
