[comp.sys.amiga.hardware] Supra SCSI info

pchernik@fs1.ee.ubc.ca (Paul M Chernikhowsky) (10/13/90)

I am searching for some informationg regarding the SCSI side of the
Supra wordsync controller. Does anyone know if this controller supports
disconnection and arbitration? I'd like to use it in a multi-host configuration
but this will only work if the Supra disconnects itself from the bus after
each bus transaction.

Thanks.

Supra's current device driver doesn't support reselection. I believe
that they now have a new programmer in house, and should start getting some
work done on upgrades. Note that Supra's hardware (other than the 500XP)
doesn't support changing the SCSI ID of the host card. That will make it hard
to set up a multi host environement...
