I have a very sharp Aydin Controls model 8811 14 inch (13 inch actual viewing area) high resolution analog RGB monitor for sale. This monitor has better resolution then any monitor I have ever seen on an amiga. This monitor was manufactured in 1987 but has less then 10 hours of use on it, and no imperfections in the screen what so ever. The phosphor in the screen has a slightly higher persistence then a standard monitor. This shows up as a slight streaking effect when you quickly move a very bright object on a dark background. That means that this may not be the best monitor for die hard gamers. On the bright side though, if you are into computer art, video production, or desktop publishing, this *is* the monitor for you. You can display interlaced screens with no visible flicker. The monitor is built for professional use and extremely well built. The back panel has all of the jacks and controls. There are 4 BNC input jacks for the red, green, and composite sync inputs. There are also 4 BNC output jacks for connecting additional monitors in line with it. I will supply an adaptor to go from your normal amiga monitor cable (DB9 connector going into the monitor) to 4 female BNC's. There is also a bank of 4 switches to enable 75 ohm termination on the inputs. The last monitor in the chain should have it's terminators enabled. Other rear panel controls include a momentary push button switch to degauss the CRT, a brightness control, and a focus control. I am asking $150.00 for the monitor and adaptor plus postage. If you are interested and live near the Ithaca area you are welcome to give me a call and come and see it in person. Matthew Kleinmann (607) 277-2937 6PM to 10PM EST
