Maybe replacing the daughterboard (WCS), with a ROM mod, would make it stable enough to use the Starboard. The C-Ltd wasn't designed to buffer the bus, ie it doesn't pass the bus, so unless you only occassionally use the Sidecar, you could consider switching between the 2 SOTS units. 3) The memory expansion was never released.

I'm looking for help reguarding the options of expanding
an Amiga (model 1000). I own an Amiga 1000 with Sidecar and would like
to add on a memory board, the board that was offered to me was one meg
board from C-ltd in a very reasnable price, the board has a pass through
