I've currently got installed in my 2000 a C. Ltd. Kronos controller card, and a Seagate 296N drive. I'm getting another drive and controller (I'm gonna sell the Kronos and Seagate), and I'd like to copy the files on the seagate to the new drive. Can I do this without having to use a daisy-chained scsi cable system, or can I leave the Seagate and Kronos connected, and go ahead and connect the new card (gvp Series II) and drive (LXT200S), format the new drive, and then just copy the files over??? I don't have a backup program, so should I maybe just backup everything (60Meg) to floppies, manually, and then restore???? Any other options, cause this one will take kinda long and too much work... E-mail only please, since I don't get to read the news very often. If there are sufficient requests, I'll post a response... -- -------------------------------------------------- | Nishan Sandhar | University of the Pacific | | nishan@uop.edu | Stockton, CA 95211 | --------------------------------------------------
